Microdermabrasion uses a diamond encrusted wand (or crystals) to remove superficial layers of the skin in the treated areas. The intensity of the procedure can be adjusted to your desired results and comfort level.

Microdermabrasion is often used to treat acne, reduce the appearance of scars, wrinkles, hyperpigmentation and other skin conditions. A series of treatments is recommended for maximum results.

Contra-Indications

• Active acne or use of Accutane within (1 year) 

• Active infection of any type (bacterial, viral, or fungal) 

• Blood thinner medications 

• Cardiac disease/abnormalities 

• Chemotherapy or radiation  

• Pregnancy / Lactation 

• Retin A discontinue 7 days prior to treatment Recent use of some topical rx.

• Cold Sores 

• Sunburn/Compromised skin

• Waxing 

• Recent chemical peel/microneedling

• Raised body temperature 2 hours prior/after treatment. 

• Rosacea
